He made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakhstan design, construction and engineering through the active participation in establishing a modern engineering company in the field of industrial and civil construction and achieving a leading position.
Mr. Tarassov has 38 years of experience in developing the construction regulatory framework in Kazakhstan, designing new equipment and technologies for the oil and gas complex, designing oil and gas complex facilities, including international projects executed in Kazakhstan, coordinating and providing state expert appraisals of projects, organizing and implementing the technical policy of the oil and gas complex in the form of international conferences and workshops, participation in technical committees/Gosstandart (State Standard) of the Republic of Kazakhstan for standardization in the oil and gas industry, including engineering for oil and gas facilities, participation in the KAZENERGY Scientific and Technical Council.
From 2001 to 2012 he worked as an outsourced expert for the State Construction Expertise and gained skills in the examination of project documentation in the process part of the oil and gas complex for large-scale investment projects.
Gennadiy has a solid work experience, which he constantly shares with young specialists, being a mentor for more than thirty highly qualified professionals and managers.
For his contribution to the development of the oil and gas and energy complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Tarassov was awarded the Honored Worker of the Oil and Gas Industry award pin, the KAZENERGY medal, the award pin from the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Honorary Builder of Kazakhstan, 120 years of Kazakhstan Oil award pin from the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
