Anatoly Petrovich Nechaev’s Engineering Library

KGNT now has a special library — a collection of Anatoly Petrovich Nechaev’s professional literature, donated to the Company by his widow.

Anatoly Petrovich’s is no longer with us, but his professional knowledge and experience continue to live on through these books.

This collection represents a part of his professional legacy — an opportunity to preserve the memory of a remarkable person, pass on accumulated knowledge to support the development of engineering expertise, encourage young professionals and preserve the traditions of engineering design.

May the books that accompanied him throughout his professional career continue to serve a purpose — helping others find solutions, inspiring new ideas and contributing to the creation of the projects of the future.

During this meeting, Alexandra Bekisheva, CEO of EC KGNT LLP, delivered a presentation on the strategic importance of developing domestic engineering and its role in the Kazakhstan economy. Today, our country is implementing large-scale projects in the oil and gas, energy, mining, petrochemical and infrastructure sectors. The engineering design is a stage where key technological solutions, project costs and future effectiveness are being set. In her speech, Alexandra emphasized the importance of developing Kazakhstan’s own engineering competencies—developing digital engineering, implementing AI, training strong specialists and expanding the participation of domestic companies in major projects. KGNT perceives the development of domestic engineering as an investment in the country’s technological future.

KGNT hosted the second Saturday session as part of the company’s Leadership Development Program. The meetings take place on a day off and provide an additional opportunity for employees to expand their professional knowledge, share experience, and find new approaches to work. Continuous learning is an important part of a modern company’s development. New knowledge helps not only to improve professional skills, but also to look at work processes in a new way, make more informed decisions, and increase team efficiency. Special thanks to the employees for their willingness to dedicate personal time to development and learning, and to the company’s management for supporting the initiative and creating opportunities for professional growth.

KGNT recently held its 2026 Mid-Year Town Hall, this time with a creative twist inspired by the popular Let Them Talk TV talk show.

The event was hosted by Alexandra Bekisheva, CEO of KGNT, who led an engaging discussion focused on what matters most—our results, achievements, projects, and, above all, the people who make them possible every day.

Throughout the event, department heads and employees joined the stage to share their accomplishments, highlight the key milestones of the first half of the year and answer questions from the host. The result was an open and dynamic conversation that went beyond formal presentations, bringing together data, insights and real stories from across the company.

The highlight of the Town Hall was the employee recognition ceremony, honoring colleagues whose professionalism, initiative and dedication have made a meaningful contribution to KGNT’s success.

Your Career Begins with the First Meeting

KGNT once again participated in the career fair organized as part of the graduation ceremony at the Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU).

Participation in such events has become a long-standing tradition for us. Every year, we meet with students and graduates to discuss the engineering profession, career opportunities, internships and the first steps in the profession. This is a great opportunity to meet them personally, answer questions and demonstrate that KGNT is a place where you can start and successfully develop your career.

This year, we were able to meet not only graduates but also their parents. Many were interested in the company’s corporate culture, working conditions and professional development opportunities for young professionals.

It’s especially gratifying when such meetings yield tangible results. After the last career fair, two KBTU graduates joined our team and are now successfully working at KGNT. This is why we continue to maintain close collaboration with the university and are happy to participate in such events.

SUMMER RELAY 2026: KGNT Keeps Pace with Team Success!

🔹On July 18, KGNT employees took part in Summer Relay 2026, a city relay race that brought together teams united by a passion for movement, teamwork and friendly competition. Our team competed in the 5 × 2 km relay, where every leg required commitment, determination and responsibility to the teammates carrying the race forward.

🔹By the results of the competition, KGNT Team took 17th place in the Business category. We see this as a solid result and additional reminder that working together enables us to overcome challenges—both in the workplace and on the race course.

KGNT employees participated in the Women’s Energy Club Forum of Intergas Central Asia JSC, NEXT LEVEL: Skills. Opportunities. Leadership.

The discussion focused on changes already impacting the labor market: the development of new competencies, the use of artificial intelligence, digital technologies and continuous education as the basement for professional growth.

Participation in such industry events is an opportunity for KGNT to share its experience, learn about best practices and find solutions that help develop people, processes and corporate culture.

We would like to express our gratitude to the organizers for creating a professional platform for open dialogue and experience exchange.

KGNT was honoured to participate in the 16th China Sourcing Summit on Petroleum & Chemical Equipment (CSSOPE 2026) and the 1st China–Kazakhstan Oil & Gas Procurement, Localization & Technology Partnership Session, held in Shanghai, China. The invitation recognised KGNT as a strategic participant in promoting Kazakhstan’s engineering capabilities and advancing international cooperation within the energy sector.

As an invited speaker, KGNT presented alongside senior representatives from the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Shanghai, KazMunayGas (KMG), and other leading organisations representing Kazakhstan’s energy industry. This provided an excellent opportunity to showcase KGNT’s expertise while demonstrating the strength of Kazakhstan’s engineering sector on an international stage.

The KGNT delegation comprised representatives from senior management, engineering, and business development, enabling the company to engage effectively with Chinese EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers, technology providers, investors, and representatives of leading energy companies. This multidisciplinary team demonstrated KGNT’s ability to provide comprehensive engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Throughout the conference, KGNT shared the company’s 50-year history, engineering capabilities, project portfolio, technical expertise, and resource capacity. By highlighting its proven track record in delivering complex engineering solutions across a wide range of industries, KGNT demonstrated its ability to support international partners through local engineering expertise, highly skilled professionals, and comprehensive project execution services.

The conference attracted a truly international audience, bringing together operators, EPC contractors, manufacturers, technology providers, investors, and procurement specialists from around the world. Through presentations, panel discussions, and dedicated business meetings, KGNT strengthened its profile within the Chinese market while promoting Kazakhstan as an attractive destination for engineering collaboration and industrial development.

A key outcome of the event was the opportunity to meet with a number of prospective Chinese EPC contractors and technology partners. Discussions focused on opportunities to collaborate on future projects in Kazakhstan by combining international expertise with KGNT’s extensive local engineering capability, regulatory knowledge, and project execution experience.

Participation in CSSOPE 2026 reinforced KGNT’s commitment to building long-term international partnerships, supporting localization initiatives, and delivering world-class engineering solutions for the energy industry. The relationships established during the conference provide a strong foundation for future collaboration and business opportunities between Kazakhstan and China.

What will Central Asia look like in 2035? The answer to this question is being shaped today through dialogue among leaders, entrepreneurs, experts, and visionaries who are helping define the region’s future.

Alexandra Bekisheva, Chief Executive Officer of KGNT, participated as a speaker at Gen.T Leaders of Tomorrow by Tatler Kazakhstan, part of Tatler Asia’s international platform that brings together a new generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers.

The discussion, titled “Central Asia 2035: In Search of a New Identity,” extended far beyond economics and politics. It focused on the region’s place in an increasingly interconnected world, the values that will underpin its development, and the decisions required to transform ambition into sustainable growth.
