KGNT employees and management visited KIOGE 2026, the 30th anniversary Kazakhstan International Oil and Gas Exhibition and Conference, held from September 30 to October 2 in Almaty.

Over three decades, KIOGE has become one of the key professional platforms for the oil and gas industry in Kazakhstan and the Caspian region. This year, the exhibition brought together more than 500 companies from 22 countries, gathering national and international oil and gas companies, engineering and service organizations, equipment manufacturers, technology companies, and industry experts.

For KGNT specialists, visiting the exhibition was an opportunity to get acquainted with current technological solutions and equipment, exchange experience with industry colleagues, and participate in business program seminars. The focus of discussions was on digitalization and artificial intelligence, modern technologies for extraction and processing, and new approaches to improving the efficiency of oil and gas projects.

Such platforms provide an opportunity not only to monitor technological changes, but also to communicate directly with representatives of clients, partners, manufacturers, and the expert community, discussing market needs and promising areas of cooperation.

For an engineering company, presence at industry events is an important part of professional development. Engineering changes along with technologies, customer requirements, and industrial challenges. Training Programme: Anti-Stress Management

KGNT has completed the first part of the Anti-Stress Management training programme, aimed at developing effective communication and self-management skills in stressful situations.

The first stage of the training focused on practical communication skills. Participants learned to better manage their emotions, stay focused on their goals, communicate their ideas with confidence, and maintain constructive dialogue even in challenging and non-standard situations.

These skills are particularly important in today’s working environment, where employees need to make decisions quickly, interact effectively with colleagues and partners, and maintain performance under high workloads.

The training helps develop resilience, mindful communication and the ability to maintain control in challenging situations, contributing both to individual employee effectiveness and stronger team interaction.

On the eve of the oil and gas industry’s professional holiday, the 3rd annual KAZDRILLING 2026 conference was held in Atyrau, bringing together representatives of leading companies in Kazakhstan’s oil and gas sector.

This was an excellent opportunity for KGNT to meet with partners, exchange experiences, discuss current industry issues and find new opportunities for collaboration.

During this meeting, Alexandra Bekisheva, CEO of EC KGNT LLP, delivered a presentation on the strategic importance of developing domestic engineering and its role in the Kazakhstan economy. Today, our country is implementing large-scale projects in the oil and gas, energy, mining, petrochemical and infrastructure sectors. The engineering design is a stage where key technological solutions, project costs and future effectiveness are being set. In her speech, Alexandra emphasized the importance of developing Kazakhstan’s own engineering competencies—developing digital engineering, implementing AI, training strong specialists and expanding the participation of domestic companies in major projects. KGNT perceives the development of domestic engineering as an investment in the country’s technological future.
