The 10th anniversary Downstream Central Asia and Caspian Conference

The 10th anniversary Downstream Central Asia and Caspian Conference finished its work in Almaty on September 14, organized by Globuc, the UK company, and official supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We, KGNT, proudly joined this important event as media partners.

Gennadiy Tarassov, KGNT Managing Director for Innovation and Marketing, participated as a speaker, presenting the latest innovative topic – Supersonic Gas Separation. Gennadiy Tarassov took the 3rd place in the ranking of conference participants. More than 300 participants from 27 countries took part in the conference.

Construction of a ferroalloy plant in Ekibastuz, Pavlodar region

We congratulate our Team on successful completion of the design work (Project stage) for the Construction of a ferroalloy plant in Ekibastuz, Pavlodar region.

The planned capacity of the ferroalloy plant is 160 thousand tons per year. This general purpose plant will produce several types of ferroalloys, such as ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, ferrosilicomanganese. ✨

Completing projects

08/29/2023 KazService, the Association of oil service companies of Kazakhstan, presented the seventh annual rating of the Top-50 most influential people in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan.

The award ceremony in Atyrau was attended by Alexandra Bekisheva, KGNT CEO, and Aidos Demessin, KGNT Managing Director for Economics and Business Development, heads of large oil and gas companies and representatives of the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan.

Gas boiler house with utilities infrastructure in the Korgalzhyn highway area.

Congratulations to our colleagues on the successful completion of the project “Gas boiler house with utilities infrastructure in the Korgalzhyn highway area”! This project was implemented due to the dynamic development of Astana city and the requirement for new heating sources for residential areas. Given the environmental moratorium on solid fuel boilers and the completion of the Saryarka trunk pipeline in 2019, a decision was made to construct a gas-fired boiler house. This project will ensure gasification of the capital city. Congratulations to our team on the successful completion of this important project! #project #gasboilerhouse #development

Implementing Kaizen in the company’s processes

We are continuing to implement Kaizen into the company’s processes.

5S is a system of organizing and rationalizing the workplace (workspace), one of the lean production tools.

Seiri (整理) – “Sorting” (necessary/unnecessary), a strict separation of things into necessary and unnecessary ones and getting rid of the latter;

Seiton (整頓) “Set in order” (neatness), an orderly and precise arrangement and storage of necessary things that makes it quick and easy to find and use them;

Seiso (清掃) “Shine” (cleaning), maintaining the workplace clean and tidy;

Seiketsu (清潔) “Standardize” (setting standards and rules), a prerequisite for the first three rules;

Shitsuke (躾) “Sustain” (literal translation: nurture), self-discipline, cultivating a habit of precisely following established rules, procedures, and technological operations.
