Forum Large EPC Project Management from Idea to Implementation

On 20 October 2023, an important event in the world of project management took place in Astana and KGNT made a significant contribution to this event. The Company’s CEO Alexandra Bekisheva was a speaker at the forum dedicated to project management with the subject “Best practices and successful cases in managing large capital projects and EPC-contracts”. As part of this interesting report, key aspects were analyzed and highlighted:

KGNT employees visited the Workshop Products and solutions of Phoenix Contact in power engineering and automation. Review of novelties, where they received a lot of new and useful information about products and solutions in power engineering and automation, the latest technological developments, as well as new products that help to improve operations and increase the efficiency of processes.

The workshop was very interesting and informative. There was an opportunity to be introduced to new products and solutions in practice, thanks to demonstration stands and presentations.

XV KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum

KGNT’s top management took part in the XV KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum that the KAZENERGY Association has been holding since 2006. This is the main international event for the energy industry across the Caspian and Central Asian regions, attracting more than 2,5 00 delegates from more than 300 companies and representatives from more than 50 countries.
Over the years, the Forum has attracted influential political figures and recognized experts. VI KAZENERGY Women’s Energy Club Forum

Alexandra Bekisheva, KGNT Chief Executive Officer, participated in the VI KAZENERGY Women’s Energy Club Forum that took place on October 3 as part of the XV KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum in Astana. Participants, speakers and managers at various levels have discussed trending topics and shared their experiences. The main topic of the VI KAZENERGY Women’s Energy Club Forum was the empowerment of women under the EmpowerHER Energy moto.
Starting 2013, the KAZENERGY Women’s Energy Club has been involved in implementing gender policies across the oil and gas and energy industries in Kazakhstan. This is a specialized platform for bringing together women from various industries and companies. KGNT supports the policy of gender equality and today 40.5% of the company’s employees are women. 13th Kazakhstan Legal Forum 2023

On September 28-29, the 13th Kazakhstan Legal Forum 2023 (KLF2023) was held in Almaty, where Bolat Makhambetov, Head of the Construction Department at KGNT, participated as a speaker with the important topic – The Project Manager’ Role in Adjusting the Price of a Construction Contract. More than 20 years ago, the company formed its competencies center, the Project Management Office, which includes certified project managers. The Project Manager’ role in adjusting the price of a construction contract is to estimate, communicate, develop, assess impact, negotiate and manage the budget to ensure the project is successfully delivered within budget. This event brought together more than 80 speakers and more than 400 participants.

Almaty Marathon 2023

On Sunday, our Ekiden KGNT team took part in Almaty Marathon 2023, the largest running competition in Central Asia, with a main distance of 42.2 km. Our employees supported this wonderful tradition by participating in 10 km single races and Nordic Walking as well. Congratulations to all the participants! We are proud of each of you!
