National Dombra Day. Results

As you know, the first Sunday of July in Kazakhstan is the National Day of Dombra – a musical instrument which became the symbol of spirit, nature and history of the Kazakh ethnos.

Shortly before this wonderful holiday, a dombra competition was held in KGNT, to support Kazakh art among the Company employees and their kids: everyone was welcome to share their dombra performances.

KGNT representatives attended a presentation of new equipment technologies organized by Schneider Electric, where our employees became acquainted with the Company’s innovative products. In addition to practical tasks performed during the training, our team spent time in an interesting and informative way. Yoga at the KGNT head office

Did you know that 21 June is World Yoga Day? And that yoga classes are held in the gym of KGNT Head Office?

Every employee in the office will find something to do in free time. In addition to active sports such as football, tennis, running and athletics, yoga classes are quite popular among colleagues and conducted by an invited professional trainer. The classes are held on an ongoing basis in the office gym. It is worth noting that all the participants speak very highly of the yoga classes and claim that this contributes not only to relaxing, but also to continuing their working day in a productive way and encourage their colleagues to join!

Today we are continuing our column #БудущееПоколениеКГНТ. We are eager to share good news with you about the achievements of our employees’ children.

Most recently, KGNT CEO Alexandra Bekisheva’s daughter Tamara Belenkaya, together with her dance partner Daniil Kuznetsov, represented Kazakhstan at the Junior World Dancesport Championship in Bremen (Germany) and for the first time in history, a Kazakhstani couple took fifth place in the junior world championship. Moreover, Daniil and Tamara are the absolute champions of Kazakhstan! Please accept sincere congratulations and warmest wishes to the champions from KGNT team!

The whole team of KGNT is very happy to hear the news about the success of not only employees, but also their children. That is why, we remind you that you can always share achievements with us (write in direct), which we will share with the others with great pleasure.

An internal table tennis tournament was held at the head office

Happy International Children’s Day!

Today, our team wished a Happy International Children’s Day to all the kids of our employees who wanted to see how their parents’ everyday life goes. 32 kids of various ages joined the Doors Open Day. All the children were immediately given badges, like those of KGNT employees. As all new employees of the Company, they took a tour of the building, where each child was able to personally get to know the team. The kids discovered Open Space, the Company’s extensive and rich library, and even managed to “swim” with the fish in the VR room.

This wonderful day filled with vivid emotions have been immortalized by us with the casts of the children’s hands. The final stage of the office tour was to meet the CEO and, of course, the gift-giving. We pleased each child with corporate gifts, as well as certificates for future employees of KGNT.

We are extremely happy that our team was able to please the children, who are certainly part of the large KGNT family. Happy International Children’s Day!

KGNT team took part in the Tau Zharys race

Each Almaty Marathon run is a new challenge for the entire team of KGNT runners. Last Sunday, our colleagues ran 6.5 and 13 km distances of the Tau Zharys race that took place in a mountainous area. Neither obstacles in the form of climbing mountains, nor rainy cool weather stopped the our team’s spirit! Each of the participants was awarded a medal as well as traditionally certificates and letters of gratitude from the Company. Thank you for the active example to others and promoting a healthy lifestyle among KGNT employees!
