KGNT on time fulfilled all the obligations under designer’s supervision of the construction of Advanced Oil Processing Complex for Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP (Atyrau Refinery).

The project for the construction of Advanced Oil Processing Complex (AOPC) is the final stage of full revamping of the refinery. Advanced Oil Processing Complex Construction Project for Atyrau Refinery is executed as part of the implementation of activities, and is provided for by the State Program for the Enhanced Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the Technical Regulation on the requirements for emissions of harmful substances of motor vehicles in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This complex is designed to process 2 million 400 thousand tons of raw materials (fuel oil, vacuum gas oil) per year. AOPC will increase the production of high-octane gasoline, aviation and diesel fuel. When refining 5.5 million tons of oil per year annually, the refinery will produce 1 million 745 thousand tons of motor gasoline, 1 million 640 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 244 thousand tons of jet fuel. All types of fuel will comply with the Euro-5 standard.

KGNT has successfully completed designer supervision on the project “Modernization of Compressor Equipment for Hot-Water Heat-Recovery Boiler at Atyrau Refinery”

KGNT has successfully completed designer supervision on the project “Modernization of Compressor Equipment for Hot-Water Heat-Recovery Boiler at Atyrau Refinery” for Atyrau Oil Refinery LLP.

The modernization provides for the following:

∙ Site preparation, including dismantling of existing facilities in the HRB building with connections, networks;

∙ Installation of Samsung Techwin SM5000 air compressor in the existing HRB building in a free area (reconstruction);

∙ Installation of a cooling unit (HZK-170 closed-circuit cooling tower) for circulating cooling of an air compressor (construction);

∙ Laying utilities with compressor and cooling tower hook-up;

∙ Putting the facility into operation.

Yekaterina Ufimtceva, Training and Development Specialist, acted as a facilitator of the training. All members of the First Aid Team showed their commitment to safety and took an active part in the training process.”

EC KGNT LLP has successfully fulfilled all contractual obligations on provision of designer supervision over Astana EXPO-2017 100 MW

EC KGNT LLP has successfully fulfilled all contractual obligations on provision of designer supervision over Astana EXPO-2017 100 MW Wind Power Station Construction for the conversion of wind energy (50 MW first start-up complex) for CAPEC GREEN ENERGY LLP.

The main goal of the project is to develop the energy sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan by introducing advanced technologies aimed at introducing sustainable energy production and strengthening the energy security of the Republic.

A 100 MW wind farm for converting wind energy will be located northeast of the Nur-Sultan city center.

The project provides for the placement of 29 wind generators with a total capacity of 100 MW in two start-up complexes.

I start-up complex was put into operation on August 26, 2019:

– 15 wind generators S1 – 01 ÷ 15; (3.3 MW wind turbines V-112 with a power mode of up to 3.45 MW.)

II start-up complex:

– 14 wind generators S2 – 01, 02, 04 ÷ 15; (3.45 MW wind turbines V-117 with a possibility of limiting power to 3.3 MW.)

On January 11, 2020, a corporate event dedicated to the New Year was held for KGNT employees and their families in several cities.

KGNT employees in Almaty held an event at the legendary high-mountain skating rink – Medeu, and in Uralsk and Atyrau they visited the Ice Palace and the Bowling Center correspondingly.

During the celebration of the event, a lottery was conducted and the winners were awarded pleasant prizes from the company.

The event was on point, giving all employees and their families an excellent mood and unforgettable memories, and also strengthened the corporate spirit!
