On September 13, 2019, KGNT celebrated its 45th anniversary. In honor of the anniversary, the company management organized a gala dinner in the ballroom of the Rixos Almaty hotel.

The beginning of the evening was marked by the performance of the folklore and ethnographic ensemble “Sazgen Sazy”, which played national Kazakh compositions, continued the entertainment program of the dance groups, who performed modern ballroom dancing with accompanying video effects that reflect the company’s symbols and events, as well as Kazakh national dances.

Among the guests were employees of all KGNT locations, as well as foreign guests, management and representatives of KazMunayGas, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating BV, Tengizchevroil, Chevron, Worley, Fluor, Axens, KPJV Limited, Hexagon PPM, Schneider Electrics, oil refineries of the Republic of Kazakhstan, CAPEC, KING, Caspiimunaygas, PWC, as well as the KAZENERGY Association, the Union of Oilfield Service Companies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kazakhstan Project Management Association.

KGNT employees were awarded with departmental awards of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In turn, KGNT awarded its partners anniversary medals and figurines, as well as letters of recognition for personal and collective contribution to joint progress and achievement of goals, fruitful cooperation of organizations and support in the formation of the company.

In honor of the anniversary, as well as with the aim of creating a unique platform for the exchange of the most relevant experience between the leading world and Kazakhstani oil and gas and oilfield services companies, the presentation of medium-term guidelines for the further development of the oil and gas sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the promotion of potential contacts and cooperation on future projects of the oil and gas industry, and the activation of information processes key players on the possibilities of domestic engineering and practical aspects of sustainable development, the company conducted International Practical Conference “Transformation of Oil and Gas Engineering in the Face of Global and Internal Challenges” in the conference hall of the Rixos Almaty Hotel.

The conference began with welcoming remarks by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS ENGINEERING COMPANY LLP, Mr. S.V. Kan, Director of the Kazakhstan Project Management Association, Mrs. M.Kh. Khusainova, General Director of the Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas JSC Mr. V.R. Li and CEO of KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS ENGINEERING COMPANY LLP. Mrs. A. M. Bekisheva.

The conference was divided into three sessions, which discussed the current state and prospects of development of the oil and gas industry in Kazakhstan, the management of construction projects in the oil and gas sector, as well as modern information modeling technologies.

The conference guests were greeted by a large interactive tablet, where everyone could find out more information about the company by accessing KGNT corporate pages on social networks. In a portable VR room, the event participants could personally see the simulated object thanks to 3D-visualization technology. Banners showing the history of the company in photos were installed in the lobby.
