Our team has completed another Kaizen module – Training in Production

We continue to actively implement Kaizen system in KGNT.

Our team has completed another Kaizen module – Training in Production. The two-day training was held in a hybrid mode: the first day the team spent in the Kaizen center, and the second in the Company office, where every trainee could apply new knowledge in the current Company processes.

Thanks to everyone who participates in learning and commits to continuous improvement.

The KGNT team held a team building for the “Year of Kaizen”

9 September saw a team-building dedicated to Year of Kaizen in KGNT and Day of Oil & Gas Industry Workers. Apart from this event, it has been noticed that thanks to our commitment to safe behavior we have reached a milestone passing 11,000,000 man-hours without LTA at all locations.

The team building was held in the open air and in a company of the best coaches of the Kaizen center, who trained our employees. There were also arranged activities in the form of relay races, logical and team spirit games. Those colleagues from locations who could not attend the event were given sweet treats.

We thank everyone for this unforgettable experience as well as your commitment to safe work and pursuit of continuous improvement.

Donor Day at KGNT

This is not the first time that Donor Day has been organized within the walls of KGNT, where all willing employees could take part in donating blood for those in need.

The event was organized jointly with the Republican Blood Center (RBC).

This year, there were more than 35 colleagues willing to donate blood.

The campaign was carried out in the gym, where all the necessary equipment for blood collection was installed.

All participants received sweet treats from KGNT, as well as complimentary tea from the RBC.

We thank everyone for participating in the company’s other noble campaign and for adhering to good traditions.

Hiking in the mountains with KGNT

Each trip we take to the mountains attracts more and more colleagues giving KGNT reason to organize a club for the most active mountain hikers. The purpose of the club is to raise the collective spirit and promote the idea of a healthy lifestyle among our colleagues.

Last weekend we made another trip to the mountains and the destination was Gorelnik. There are still many mountainous areas unexplored by the team. Join and explore the beauties of Almaty with #KGNTDREAMTEAM

Happy Abay day!

Today we are celebrating the 177th anniversary of Great Educator Abai Kunanbaev being the founder of written Kazakh literature.

Expressing our deep respect to the writer and his works, we have started a flash mob where everyone could record part of the verse “Kulaktan kirip, boydy alar”. Happy Abay Kunanbaev’s Day, colleagues!

Dina Amankeldikyzy Omirzak, a daughter of our employee Amankeldi Omirzakuly Amanzhol, Civil Supervisor for Piping at the Tengiz location, was awarded with the gold medal – Altyn Belgi – upon graduation from school. Congratulations! Previously, Dina was noted in Leader of the 21st Century – a book about the 100 best students of Kazakhstan. The future of any country is determined by the younger generation.
