KGNT donated more than 1,000 face shields to NJSC State Corporation “Goverment for Citizens” in Almaty

23.06.2020 After the worldwide outbreak of COVID–19, the lack of adequate personal protective equipment for workers in constant contact with the public has become a global problem. In this regard, ENGINEERING COMPANY KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP proved itself to be a civic–minded company by engaging volunteers for the assembly of face shields in-house, in order to support all interested organizations whose employees are in crowded places in constant contact with people where the risk of contracting a coronavirus infection is very high.

On June 23, 2020 ENGINEERING COMPANY KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP provided 1,050 face shields, along with user guides, to the Medeu District Public Service Center in Almaty. 960 employees work in Almaty Public Service Centers, and face shields will be provided to all of them.

KGNT is a company that does not remain indifferent to the health of employees of organizations engaged in continuous contact work with the public. The company expresses its gratitude to each of them for their hard work and devotion and, with this action, calls on other companies to provide all possible support to these organizations!

KGNT Almaty Head Office arranged a headquarters for the assembly of face shields

17.06.2020 In view of the circumstances, ENGINEERING COMPANY KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP, taking responsibility for the local community, decided to support the organizations providing continuous work with the public involved in ensuring municipal maintenance, as well as to medical organizations that is those most exposed to the risk of infection. To accomplish this task, a headquarters for the assembly of face shields was organized at the Print Center of the Head Office in Almaty.

Face shields are an additional individual respiratory and vision protection tool, additive to the mask, which has gained relevance during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Both KGNT employees and senior management took part in the assembly of face shields. The assembly was carried out in accordance with the approved drawings and instructions in compliance with all safety precautions and occupational safety standards. The total number of face shields assembled by KGNT employees is more than several thousand pieces. Materials safe for health and having all the required quality certificates were used as consumables.

Meeting with the Management of the Executive Directorate of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea in Kazakhstan

03.06.2020. Aidos Demessin, KGNT Managing Director for Economics and Business Development, and Gennadiy Tarassov, KGNT Managing Director for Innovations and Marketing conducted a meeting with  Bolat Bekniyaz Ph.D., Executive Director of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, Marat Narbayev, Ph.D., Deputy Director, Abai Dzhabassov, Ph.D., Head of the Environmental Department on strategic partnership and business cooperation of the company and the Fund at the head office of the Executive Directorate of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea in Kazakhstan (IFAS in Kazakhstan) in Almaty.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the cooperation form between KGNT and IFAS, as well as to establish contacts and intensify interaction aimed at solving the problems of the Aral Sea basin, in particular, the development and implementation of future projects and programs in order to improve the environmental, socio-economic and water management situation in the region.

International Children’s Day

01.06.2020  International Children’s Day was established in November 1949 in Paris by a decision of the Congress of the Women’s International Democratic Federation. This day is annually celebrated on June 1 with the aim of attracting the attention of adults to respecting children’s rights to freedom of opinion, education, protection from violence and the right to life.

Every year on this day, ENGINEERING COMPANY KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP congratulates children on this holiday and holds traditional competitions.

In 2020, in order to comply with safety measures, this holiday in KGNT was in a video interview format for children of KGNT employees on the topic: What Do I Know about My Mom’s/Dad’s Work?

Children answered the following questions:

1) Tell me about yourself, who are your parents?

2) What does your dad/ mom do working at KGNT?

3) What did you hear from your dad/mom about their work?

4) Have you ever come to your dad’s /mom’s office? If so, what did you see there?

5) What do you want to be when you grow up?

Branch office KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS ENGINEERING COMPANY LLP in the city of Uralsk

On May 25, 2020, ENGINEERING COMPANY KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP registered its branch office in Uralsk at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This fact is confirmed by the issued registration certificate for the branch office with its registration number 10100411579345 dated 05/26/2020 and BIN 200541017782.

The branch was established for KGNT to execute its activities in the West Kazakhstan Oblast as part of the ongoing work to improve the socio-economic development in this region.

Registration of the branch will increase the income of such types of tax deductions as individual income tax and social tax. This, in turn, along with the socio-economic development of the WKO, will provide additional opportunities for state support of business at the local level.

Accreditation Certificate for Technical Supervision Engineering Services for Technically and Technologically Complex Facilities of the First Level

In accordance with the order of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2015 No. 709 “On Approval of the Rules and Permits for the Accreditation of Organizations Providing Technical Supervision Engineering Services for Technically and Technologically Complex Facilities of the First Level of Criticality”, KGNT has passed accreditation and has the Accreditation Certificate for Technical Supervision Engineering Services for Technically and Technologically Complex Facilities of the First Level of Criticality issued by the authorized body — the Committee for Construction and Housing and Public Utilities of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Defender of the Fatherland Day

Defender of the Fatherland Day is celebrated on May 7 in Kazakhstan. This date was chosen in view of the fact that on this day in 1992 the first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed a decree on the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War

On the eve of the Great Victory Day, KGNT Chief Executive Officer together with the Company’s team purchased and delivered essential food baskets for 7 veterans of the Great Patriotic War as part of the Good Deeds charity event, with all safety precautions. Also, a video message for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War was recorded with children of KGNT employees.
