🌍✨ KGNT at the International Youth Science and Practice Conference ‘Energy of the Future: the Role of Youth in the Transformation of the Oil and Gas Industry’ ✨🌍 We are pleased to announce that our company KGNT took part in the International Youth Science and Practice Conference “Energy of the Future: The Role of Youth in the Transformation of the Oil and Gas Industry” organized by the KBTU School of Energy and Oil and Gas Industry (SE&OGI). This event has become a platform for discussing pressing issues related to decarbonization, green energy and prospects for the oil and gas sector.

Our team was represented by Alexandra Bekisheva, CEO of the company, giving a presentation highlighting the importance of involving young people in innovative projects and industry development in Kazakhstan. The conference was moderated by our employee Danagul Sagyndykova, Project Engineer of the Project Management Office, who actively contributed to the dynamics of the discussions.

The main purpose of our participation was to attract young people to work in KGNT for the benefit of our state and to participate in significant projects in Kazakhstan. We aim to prevent the outflow of highly qualified personnel abroad by providing opportunities for young people to grow professionally and fulfil their potential in our region.

Investing into the future

Drone (UAV) piloting training and Agisoft Metashape training! 🚀

Employees of our company N.J. Baikenov and V. Salnikov successfully attended the training provided by ‘GAMMER ENGINEERING’ LLP on the basics of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) piloting and use of Agisoft Metashape software!

Through the training, our colleagues learned key skills in UAV aerial photography and how to effectively work with Agisoft Metashape to process and analyse the acquired data. This proficiency does something that not only broadens their professional horizons, but also substantially increases our expertise in geospatial modelling and analysis.

Life outside the office

On January 12, a mini-tournament Family Game was held at school No. 124, and we are proud that our employee Irina Pustovoitova played for team Zheltoksan which took 1st place!

This urban mini-tournament for mixed teams consisted of 4 women and 2 men, and Irina’s team showed excellent results, demonstrating real teamwork and sportsmanship.

Congratulations to our employees on the successful completion of their training!

We are pleased to announce that 11 employees of KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS have been trained under the program Project Management – Basic Course – Preparation for International Certification as per IPMA ICB v.4.0 Standards.

During the training, attendees learned key project management aspects such as:

Strategy and management: understanding the strategic context of projects and their management in accordance with established standards and rules.

Teamwork and leadership: developing skills of personal integrity, reliability, and teamwork, which contributes to creating a strong and efficient work environment.

Risk and opportunity management: training to identify risks and respond to changes in a timely manner, which will minimize possible losses and take advantage of new opportunities.

Planning and control: developing methods and tools for effective planning, work arrangement and outcome monitoring.

Certification preparation: understanding the IPMA certification process and the factors affecting the competence of project managers.

This knowledge and skills will not only enhance the qualifications of our employees, but will also become an important contribution to KGNT development.

ALMATY WINTER RUN 2025

❄️ WINTER RUN 2025 is finished! ❄️♀️

On 23 February we enjoyed a warm and comfortable morning in a new location where the participants set their goals and wishes for the forthcoming running season.

✅This time the marathon included the following distances: 10 km, a 7-km Nordic walk and a 3-km children’s run.

Our company had 7 people take part in the 10-km distance and we are proud of each or you!

Thanks to all the participants for your activeness and inspiration! All those of you who desire to join us to take part in the next runs are welcome. Let us move forward together! ✨

🌍 Environmental Care is a priority for KGNT

Since 2019, our company has made a commitment to minimise plastic use and protect the environment. We believe that every little thing matters, and through the combined efforts of all employees, we can make the world a better place.

Taking action to protect the environment:

We have replaced disposable cups with pottery mugs, helping to reduce the plastic load on our planet.

Eco-bags for everyone: Every employee has been given an eco-bag to encourage the use of reusable solutions instead of disposable ones.

Walkabouts and Talks: We undertake regular meetings and talks to promote reducing plastic use culture in the office.

Eliminating Bins: We have replaced the usual bins with eco bins: for plastic, paper and waste. This was done to facilitate separate collection of rubbish and to engage employees in waste awareness.

Segregated waste collection: All employees are involved in the practice of segregated waste collection, which allows us to reduce the amount of rubbish, and give a new life to used materials.

Maintaining an environmentally friendly atmosphere: We take action to keep the office clean and tidy, which creates a comfortable working environment.

KGNT has undertaken extensive work to replace fluorescent bulbs with LED bulbs since October 2013. We also actively participate in global campaigns such as Earth Hour
