KGNT staff actively participated in an eco-Saturday cleanup on June 22, held at the company office area and workplaces. This Saturday’s cleanup was an important milestone in the fulfilment of our strategy for sustainable development and commitment to the environment.
Throughout the day, employees cleaned up the territory and improved workplace appearance. Emphasis was placed on waste sorting and recycling, which is an integral part of our environmental initiatives.
The Eco Saturday cleanup is part of our corporate ESG initiative aimed at improving the environmental and social aspects of our business. We strive to create comfortable and safe working conditions for our people and to minimize the negative impact on the environment.

7 June 2024, an off-schedule safety drill was successfully performed in KGNT Almaty office building. Given the importance of the event, our personnel and visitors followed the instructions, abandoned the premises and were escorted to a safe place as per the evacuation plan.
Drill evacuation is an important, critical and challenging event in the safety system. Regular evacuation drills allow us to consolidate behavioural skills in case of an earthquake, fire and ensure readiness to quickly and safely abandon the building in case of emergencies.
Safety of employees is our top priority!

30.05.2024 KGNT extended its accreditation and received the Accreditation Certificate for Technical Supervision Engineering Services at Technically and Technologically Complex facilities of the First Level of Criticality from the authorized body – the Committee for Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the Order Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 23, 2015 No. 709 On Approval of the Rules and Permitting Requirements for the Accreditation of Organizations Providing Technical Supervision Engineering Services at Technically and Technologically Complex facilities of the First Level of Criticality.
Accreditation is extended for 2 years till May 30, 2026.
