KGNT personnel: Chief Planning Engineer Yelnur Nurtyai, Planning Engineer Begaiym Kamchybekkyzy, Department Head and Chief Specialist for Recruitment, Adaptation and Training Ainur Zhailaubayeva and Irina Em presented students of @kazgasa.kz a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the features of professional activity.

They stressed on the important points of their expertise, discussed real success cases and team’s large-scale projects. This was followed by a proposal for students to undergo practical training in our company to immerse themselves in the work atmosphere and develop their skills.

11th September 2024, early construction of the polyethylene plant with an annual 1.25 MT production and investments approximately worth USD 7.4 billion started at the National Industrial Petrochemical Technopark Special Economic Zone in Atyrau Region.

Ceremony was attended by Sagyndyk Lukpanov, Member of the RoK Senate of the Parliament, Serik Shapkenov, Akim of Atyrau Region, Askhat Khassenov, CEO of NC KazMunayGas JSC, Yerlan Akkenzhenov, Vice Minister of Energy, Olzhas Saparbekov, Vice Minister of Industry and Construction, Sergey Komyshan, Member of the Management Board/Executive Director of SIBUR,  Zhao Tiezhu, Vice President of Sinopec Overseas Investment Holding, and Alexandra Bekisheva, CEO of KGNT (General Engineering Contractor)

This is the largest project of Kazakhstan’s downstream industry (over $2 billion will be additionally allocated for construction of the Gas Separation Complex at Tengiz and a 205 km ethane pipeline).

Project implementation will create about 8,000 jobs during the construction phase and 800 jobs after the production start-up. This project will also lead to a multiplicative effect in the economy: development of associated industries and new production of end produce in the country as well as improvement of logistics.

Domestic consumption of polyethylene is increasing annually, exceeding 200 thousand tons by the end of 2023.

August of 28th, a seismic training for our employees was successfully conducted at KGNT headquarters.

Ms. Danara Rakhiyeva, Head 3D Technology Specialist at KGNT, attended a business breakfast held by Cursor SRSS – an official partner of Siemens PLM Software, leading software provider and PLM BLC softsale – an expert in BIM technologies, for managers and leading specialists in the construction and engineering industry.

Both companies presented various design tools and solutions provided by Siemens PLM Software, as well as the challenges of their applications. Special focus to simulation, evaluation and optimization of liquid flows, heat transfer, combustion and related processes and phenomena.
