KGNT Strengthens International Partnerships at CSSOPE 2026 in Shanghai
KGNT was honoured to participate in the 16th China Sourcing Summit on Petroleum & Chemical Equipment (CSSOPE 2026) and the 1st China–Kazakhstan Oil & Gas Procurement, Localization & Technology Partnership Session, held in Shanghai, China. The invitation recognised KGNT as a strategic participant in promoting Kazakhstan’s engineering capabilities and advancing international cooperation within the energy sector.
As an invited speaker, KGNT presented alongside senior representatives from the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Shanghai, KazMunayGas (KMG), and other leading organisations representing Kazakhstan’s energy industry. This provided an excellent opportunity to showcase KGNT’s expertise while demonstrating the strength of Kazakhstan’s engineering sector on an international stage.
The KGNT delegation comprised representatives from senior management, engineering, and business development, enabling the company to engage effectively with Chinese EPC contractors, equipment manufacturers, technology providers, investors, and representatives of leading energy companies. This multidisciplinary team demonstrated KGNT’s ability to provide comprehensive engineering solutions across the full project lifecycle.
Throughout the conference, KGNT shared the company’s 50-year history, engineering capabilities, project portfolio, technical expertise, and resource capacity. By highlighting its proven track record in delivering complex engineering solutions across a wide range of industries, KGNT demonstrated its ability to support international partners through local engineering expertise, highly skilled professionals, and comprehensive project execution services.
The conference attracted a truly international audience, bringing together operators, EPC contractors, manufacturers, technology providers, investors, and procurement specialists from around the world. Through presentations, panel discussions, and dedicated business meetings, KGNT strengthened its profile within the Chinese market while promoting Kazakhstan as an attractive destination for engineering collaboration and industrial development.
A key outcome of the event was the opportunity to meet with a number of prospective Chinese EPC contractors and technology partners. Discussions focused on opportunities to collaborate on future projects in Kazakhstan by combining international expertise with KGNT’s extensive local engineering capability, regulatory knowledge, and project execution experience.
