On April 3, Astana hosted one of the main industry events — the XIII Annual Conference on Oil and Gas Construction and Engineering. Our company, IC KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP, acted as the Golden Partner of the site, once again confirming its readiness to invest in the future of the energy sector in Kazakhstan. Also participating in the Conference on behalf of our company were General Director A.M. Bekisheva, Deputy General Director for Strategic Development Quintin Goldie and Chief Business Development Manager Zh.B. Andizhan.
This year, the organizer of the forum, the Association of Oilfield Service Companies «KazService», celebrates its 15th anniversary. The anniversary meeting turned out to be really large-scale:
1. More than 500 participants and 200+ companies;
2. Support at the level of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
3. Participation of global giants (Shell, Eni, Petrofac) and key operators (Tengizchevroil, NCOC, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating);
4. The presence of distinguished diplomatic guests — the Ambassadors of Italy, Turkey and the UAE, as well as recognized industry experts and veterans.
The main focus of the discussions was on the implementation of new engineering projects and construction programs. The forum has become an excellent opportunity not only to discuss trends, but also to hold productive B2B meetings.
A significant event of the conference was the awarding of the General Director of Engineering Company KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS LLP, Alexandra Maratovna Bekisheva, with the medal ‘For Contribution to the Development of the Oil and Gas Complex,’ presented on behalf of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan by Vice-Minister Yerlan Akbarov. This high award is a recognition of the company’s long-term professionalism and significant contribution to the development of the domestic oil and gas industry.”
As a sign of respect for the participants and in continuation of the tradition of preserving industry memory, the company presented the key speakers of the conference with an anniversary book in honor of the 50th anniversary of KGNT, an edition dedicated to the half—century history and achievements of the company.
