Winter Run 2026

Winter Run 2026

This Sunday, our colleagues took part in the Winter Run 2026 organized by Almaty Marathon.

Despite the freezing weather and the early start, they confidently completed their distances: a 10 km run and 7 km of Nordic walking.

It was a day of strength, endurance, and true team spirit. Support was felt at every stage – it was exactly what helped maintain the pace and reach the finish line with confidence.

Special thanks to our fans 🤍

Your words of support, smiles, and energy made this start even more special. When a team stands behind you, any distance is easier to conquer.

We are proud of every participant and thank everyone who was there on this day. We keep moving forward together 💙

KGNT at the Forefront of Dialogue: Outcomes of the Business Breakfast with KPO and KazService

KGNT at the Forefront of Dialogue: Outcomes of the Business Breakfast
with KPO and KazService

On February 16 of this year, «ENGINEERING COMPANY KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS» (KGNT) LLP took part in a key industry event —
a business breakfast organized by the Union of Oil Service Companies of Kazakhstan (KazService) and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. (KPO).
The meeting brought together over 30 leading market players to discuss the industry’s most pressing topic: the development of local content and the elimination of barriers for domestic manufacturers.

In Focus: Transparency and Long-Term Partnership

The dialogue proved to be highly practical. Participants, including KGNT experts, discussed mechanisms for accessing KPO projects and ways to optimize tender procedures. The main emphasis was placed on the following initiatives:

1. Contract Localization: Transitioning from large lots to more flexible procurement strategies to attract small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).
2. Long-Term Planning: Implementing long-term contracts, which will allow Kazakhstan companies to confidently invest in modernization and capacity expansion.
3. Removing Barriers: Reviewing excessive technical requirements that often limit the participation of local suppliers.

KGNT’s Contribution to the Professional Community

Our company has always advocated for a systematic approach to industry development, where engineering thought and expertise play a key role. As a sign of commitment to these values and to strengthen professional ties, KGNT presented KPO and KazService with valuable commemorative books published in honor of KGNT’s 50th anniversary.
«Such meetings are not just a networking platform, but a real feedback tool. It is important for KGNT that every contract in the oil service sector becomes an investment in Kazakhstan’s competencies and the creation of new jobs» noted representatives of our delegation.

Experience sharing and partnership development

On February 4 in Atyrau, KGNT representative Gulnur Zhumabay took part in an industry petrocouncil event, organized by the Petrocouncil with the support of top management of North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC). The event served as an important platform for professional dialogue between oil & gas operators and contractors.
As part of the event and subsequent meetings, KGNT also presented its 50th Anniversary Book, highlighting the company’s history, key milestones, and KGNT’s role as the oldest and one of the leading engineering and design institutes in Kazakhstan.
The KGNT anniversary books were presented to:
• Giancarlo Ruiu, Managing Director of NCOC;
• Rzabek Artygaliyev, Chairman of the Oil and Gas Council Presidium;
• Stephen Conner, General Manager Operations of Tengizchevroil (TCO);
• Kuanyshkerey Mukhtarov, Deputy General Director of TCO.
These engagements reflect KGNT’s commitment to sharing its engineering heritage, strengthening professional relationships, and maintaining open dialogue with key industry stakeholders.

Women in BIM Kazakhstan: The first step toward the community

Women in BIM Kazakhstan: The first step toward the community 🏗️✨

Almaty hosted the first meeting of the international Women in BIM (WIB) community in Kazakhstan.

Digital construction leaders, representatives of Autodesk, KazNIISA, Kazgor, and KGNT gathered on one platform to lay the foundation for a new professional networking in Central Asia.

KGNT was an active participant in this movement. One of the program’s key highlights was the “Business Success Story” session with a presentation by our CEO Alexandra Bekisheva.

Why is this important for KGNT?

For us, participation is not just an entry in the calendar, but part of a large development strategy:

* Knowledge sharing: Alexandra shared a real case study of KGNT’s establishment. For young specialists and students of specialized universities, this is a rare opportunity to hear about the journey “first-hand” from local challenges to international recognition.

* Strengthening the HR brand: We broadcast values of openness and leadership. Such meetings help us attract the best talents who are passionate about digitalization to our team.

KGNT today is not only about design but also a center of competence shaping the BIM agenda in the region.

The participants discussed the BIM competency map, team management issues, and career trajectories.

The evening concluded with live networking, where business experience and the energy of young talent met in an informal setting.

We share experience so that innovations become tradition. We are glad to be at the origins of forming such a powerful community in Kazakhstan! 🇰🇿💻
