The largest conference in the field of BIM – ALCOR BIMDAY 2024 – was recently held in Almaty, bringing together more than 200 experts and business representatives to discuss advanced solutions in the operation of infrastructure facilities. Participants learnt about the latest developments from leading companies such as HEXAGON and ETAP. The focus was on digital twins, energy consumption analysis and other innovations that contribute to better asset management lifecycle.

One of the participants of this significant event was Danara Rakhieva, Chief 3D Technology Specialist at KGNT. The knowledge and ideas gained will definitely be applied in our projects.

19.09.2024 “ On 17-18 September 2024 in Astana, the 11th International Conference ‘Downstream Central Asia and Caspian’ was successfully held at the Radisson Astana Hotel, organized by the British company Globuc with the official support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC ‘KazMunayGas’. Most significant advantage of the conference was the high quality of reports and the high status of the discussion participants – these are really the world’s leading technological companies, suppliers of advanced equipment and services for the industry!

KGNT traditionally acted as media partner of this major event for the 11th time. KGNT delegation of 7 top managers was chaired by Alexandra Bekisheva, CEO of KGNT. Conference was attended by more than 360 representatives of regional refineries/chemical refineries, national oil and gas service companies, licensees from Central Asia and Azerbaijan, other countries implementing projects in this sector – key players of oil and gas chemical and refining industry of the region, technology leaders and service providers for the industry.

Among the regular participants are KazMunayGas, KPI, KazAzot, KMG PetroChem, Silleno, Uzbekneftegaz, Uzbekistan GTL, Shurtan GCC, PetroKazakhstan, Samruk-Kazyna Ondeu, KazEnergy, SOCAR, Azerikimya, Türkmengaz, Turkmenkhimiya, KGNT and many others.

KGNT initiated and successfully organized the discussion “Kazakhstani Engineering Development Role in implementation of new petrochemical projects of the Country” for the first time in the Conference Program.

Alexandra Bekisheva, CEO of KGNT, moderated the session, and Sergey Donskov, Deputy General Director for Design – Chief Engineer of KGNT, was one of the speakers. Discussion aroused great interest of the conference participants and contributed to the development of Kazakhstani engineering, at the end of the discussion the organizers and participants of the conference congratulated with applause the staff of KGNT with the 50th anniversary of the Company”.
