19.09.2024 “ On 17-18 September 2024 in Astana, the 11th International Conference ‘Downstream Central Asia and Caspian’ was successfully held at the Radisson Astana Hotel, organized by the British company Globuc with the official support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC ‘KazMunayGas’. Most significant advantage of the conference was the high quality of reports and the high status of the discussion participants – these are really the world’s leading technological companies, suppliers of advanced equipment and services for the industry!

KGNT traditionally acted as media partner of this major event for the 11th time. KGNT delegation of 7 top managers was chaired by Alexandra Bekisheva, CEO of KGNT. Conference was attended by more than 360 representatives of regional refineries/chemical refineries, national oil and gas service companies, licensees from Central Asia and Azerbaijan, other countries implementing projects in this sector – key players of oil and gas chemical and refining industry of the region, technology leaders and service providers for the industry.

Alexandra Bekisheva, CEO of KGNT, moderated the session, and Sergey Donskov, Deputy General Director for Design – Chief Engineer of KGNT, was one of the speakers. Discussion aroused great interest of the conference participants and contributed to the development of Kazakhstani engineering, at the end of the discussion the organizers and participants of the conference congratulated with applause the staff of KGNT with the 50th anniversary of the Company”.
