KGNT Head Office hosted a meeting between KGNT’s Management and the Chairman of the Board of NJSC International Green Technologies & Investments Center (Center) Didar Karimsakov. During the meeting, comprehensive issues of cooperation in the field of green technologies were discussed for the design of construction projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical and energy industries, improvement and efficiency of processes, transfer and training of advanced technologies and know-how, as well as further participation of KGNT in meetings of the Scientific and Technical Council. Didar Karimsakov expressed gratitude to KGNT for its hospitality and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Center was created by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 27, 2018, was presented to the world community on May 17, 2018 during the AEF Global Challenges Summit 2018 and is one of the anchor initiatives in the field of green technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Center promotes green technologies and supports business to improve the competitiveness of the economy, the quality of life of the population and reduce the negative impact on the environment.
The Center’s main areas of activity are the development of renewable and alternative energy sources, creation of a waste management system, the sustainable use of water resources, reducing the negative impact on the environment, energy saving and increasing energy efficiency, careful and effective management of ecosystems.
