Project Management Office (PMO)
The role of Project Management Office is to support, establish standards and regulations for managers of different projects and programs, to collect project management data, fusion of it and report to higher authorities. PMO provides unity of projects with vision and strategies of KGNT EC.
PMO implements a strategic task of KGNT EC by:
- Development of politics, methodology and samples for project management inside the company;
- Provision of support and management inside the company on implementation of developed methodology and samples, training in project management and specific methods of project management;
- Provision of project managers for different company’s projects assuming the responsibility of these projects results.
EC KGNT Project Management is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the International Project Management Association IPMA - http://www.ipma.ch, in consideration of the standards of the Project Management Institute PMI - www.pmi.org, leading materials of the International Association of Advanced Methods Estimate Engineering AACE (www.aacei.org) and International Federation of Construction Engineers FIDIC (www.fidic.org). Standard of KGNT EC on project management includes Project Management Guidelines (developed in accordance with PMI standard) and also more than 50 detail procedures and samples. Project Management Guidelines is a system of views which is used by EC KGNT in initiation, planning, management (execution and control) and closing of projects. This Guideline includes methodology and references to project documentation, samples and schemes. The samples on all project management aspects allow to systematize and unify the project documentation and also facilitate a management process. |
