«Kaztransgas» JSC jointly with “EC “Kazgiproneftetrans” LLP holds the Second International Practical “The effective solutions on functioning gas-main pipeline reconstruction” Conference on 3-4 October, 2007 within the 15th KIOGE 2007 International Oil and Gas Exhibition in Almaty city. The Conference shall cover the following issues:
1. Capacity raise in recovery and refining of gas in the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2. Flow-rate capacity preservation and increase of functioning gas pipeline under financial, environmental and process constraint conditions;
3. Reliability factor reporting and guarantee, process and environmental safety while  units and equipment upgrading and reconstruction of functioning gas pipelines;
4. Perspective methods on diagnostics and inspection of CS equipment and gas pipelines linear sections;  
5. Maintenance and improvement activities as per operation reliability and equipment safety of compressor stations and gas pipeline linear section equipments
The main purpose of the conference is cutting-edge experience and information interchange, and generation of particular proposals concerning gas industry, gas-processing capacity resource potential, safe and reliable exploitation, gas-main pipeline rate-flow capacity maintenance and improvement, capital investment and operations expenses optimization along with risk assessment in project planning and realization as per reconstruction and modernization. 
     Following the results of the conference, relevant problems, concerning gas-main pipeline reconstruction, solutions order shall be determined, efficient reconstruction concepts will be accepted, optimal process solutions on safety and reliability guarantee, given up-to-date diagnostic and inspection methods of CS and gas-main pipeline linear section equipments, as per gas-main pipeline modernization and reconstruction.
