In 1974 according to the Order of the Council of Ministers of Kazakh SSR No. 374-đ dated 20.05.1974 the special engineering bureau (SEB) has been created under
“Kazglavneftesnab”.
In the beginning of its activity SEB designed and constructed the fuel stations,
tank farms, main oil product pipelines, developed perspective industry development
schemes and certificated the existing facilities.
In 1984 according the Decision of Council of Ministers of the USSR No. 253-p
dated 08.02.1986 SEB has been reorganized into State Engineering Institute on design of
oil product pipelines, tank farms and fuel stations – “KazGiproNefteTrans” SEI |

In 2000 “KazGiproNefteTrans” SEI has been privatized. In 2001 “KazGiproNefteTrans” SEI has been reorganized into “KazGiproNefteTrans” Engineering Company (KGNT EC), while its active development of design, project management and engineering.
During last six years KGNT EC constantly enriches a field of its activity, develops oil-and-gas fields construction, oil-and-gas treatment, oil-and-gas pipeline transport, marine oil-and-gas terminals, petrochemical production.
For its more than 36 -years history KGNT EC has designed and has commissioned more than 1000 facilties of oil-and-gas industry.
